Cairns Indian Festival 2026 – Main Festival is a vibrant celebration of Indian culture, heritage and community, bringing together families, locals, visitors and multicultural communities for a full day of colour, flavour and entertainment.

Held at Fogarty Park on Saturday, 12 September 2026, the Main Festival will feature live cultural performances, Indian music and dance, authentic food stalls, market stalls, family-friendly activities and a lively festival atmosphere by the Cairns waterfront.

Organised by GOPIO Cairns, the festival celebrates the richness and diversity of India while promoting multicultural connection, community participation and cultural understanding across Far North Queensland.
