Membership Terms & Conditions

Membership fees are subject to change without prior notice.

GOPIO Cairns Inc. reserves the right to accept or reject any membership application at its discretion.

Annual membership fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal or termination.

Memberships are non-transferable and apply only to the registered individual or organization.

Membership is valid from 01 September to 31 August of the following year (for annual members). Renewal is required each year.

Voting Rights:
Life and Annual Members are eligible to vote at general meetings, elections, and other official decisions of the organization.
Student Members and Honorary Members are not entitled to vote.

Members must comply with the Constitution and Code of Conduct of GOPIO Cairns Inc. at all times.

Failure to comply with the rules or engage in conduct unbecoming of a member may result in suspension or termination of membership.

Life Membership is a one-time payment and remains valid for the lifetime of the member unless terminated due to breach of rules.

Student Membership is conditional on providing a valid student ID annually.

Honorary Membership is granted solely at the discretion of the Executive Committee and may be reviewed annually.

Membership does not imply any legal right to participate in governance unless elected or appointed to an official position.

Members may be photographed or filmed during events, and such media may be used for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

Corporate members must ensure that their engagement aligns with GOPIO Cairns' mission and community values.

All personal data will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and used only for communication, event updates, and membership management.
